All of MARIO DONI’s sandals are made with vegetable-tanned leather.
Vegetable tanning is an ancient method of treating the leather, based on the use of tannins, natural extracts obtained from the bark of trees and also used in other industries, from food or animal to wine processing, given their countless benefits. This is a sustainable alternative to the more chemical leather tanning process commonly used all over the world.
